Each style comes with shade 5.0 polycarbonate lens that offer superior impact resistance over traditional glass plates. All welding products also include CR39 cover lenses to protect the filter against pitting and scratching. The flip-up styles have a polycarbonate safety lens to protect the wearer when the welding lens is in the raised position. Comfortable elastic straps are easily adjusted. Replacement lenses are also available.

I purchased two pairs each to go with a copy of Dr.Horrible on DVD. My roommates are both welders and fans of the show and we're extremely thrilled.
It should be noted that I bought these goggles for my boyfriend as a costume accessory. Therefore, I cannot say how well they work for actual welding. As a costume piece, though, he loves them.
